Leigh and Derek

I see Mr Beaumont had a real rant about last Fridays match saying he is not investing anymore money into the game and is going to create his own league
I’m hoping he calms down

You can hardly blame him or indeed Lam after the decision to not allow the try by Gildart for so called obstuction on French who was too far away to exercise any tackle on him when he was so near to scoring the try.

Athough, I am a Wigan supporter, it was one of the worse decisions of the season and if allowed would possibly with a added goal seen Leigh playing at home in the play off instead of away.

Any fair Wigan Owner and Coach would have felt the same!

O.C. Its swings and roundabouts Had the Wigan try been allowed Leigh wouldn't have been in that position to score a try. There was also another 28 mins to play and We would have stepped up a gear if the Leigh try had been allowed. The video ref was at fault for taking so long and folk listening to the four just men at SKY making a fuss over it. If the plastic Tarzan look alike at Leigh wants to pack in let him do it Hes all mouth.

" he - is going to create his own league"

What a good idea. The Leigh League.
They could have Leigh sticking Leigh Reserves, then Leigh Ladies, weeks about.
He could form another team and call it Leigh.
All the supporters would be cheering for Leigh. They'd save on the cost of travelling and Leigh would be league champions every season.

Be the Roar!

What happened to the Beaumont who loved rugby and the people of Leigh, he's shown his true colours by crying because things didn't go his way, I wonder if he took ball home after match so nobody could play with it.

Personally I have no time for him, just because things have not gone his way, he throws his toys out of the pram.
To me he's a self serving, attention seeking pr*ck

In his last season as the Wigan Head Coach, I bet Lam had wished he had been supported with the same level of squad that Peet has been blessed with in the last couple of seasons and especially this season.

He may have had a moan a bit about the non Gildart try and rightly so, but as far as I am concerned as a fair minded Wigan Supporter, he should be awarded Head Coach of the Year for the way he has coached Leigh to the winning of the Challenge Cup after a period of 52 years and also got them into the Top Six Play Off when the majority of supporters expected them to go straight back down to the Championship.
